Frequently Asked Questions

What language tests are accepted by the SINP?
The SINP accepts results from approved language tests such as IELTS, CELPIP, and TEF. Ensure your test results are valid and meet the required Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) levels for your chosen category.
How long does the SINP application process take?
Processing times can vary depending on the category and the completeness of your application. It’s advisable to check the current processing times on the official SINP website.
Can I apply to the SINP if I am already in Canada?
Yes, certain SINP categories are designed for individuals already working and living in Saskatchewan on a valid work permit.
How can I determine my eligibility for the SINP?
To be eligible to apply for the SINP, you must meet specific criteria related to your chosen category, including factors like education, work experience, language proficiency, and adaptability. It’s essential to review the detailed requirements for each category to determine your eligibility.
Is the SINP the only pathway to immigrate to Saskatchewan?
